Amy completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at LaTrobe University in 2004. She has a broad range of experience as a physiotherapist in hospital, community and aged care settings, with interventions including rehabilitation, palliative care and falls prevention.
Amy is passionate about improving the lives of her clients. She enjoys looking at their quality of life as a whole, not just focusing on their physical condition. Amy believes that everyone deserves to do the things they enjoy and works with her clients to problem solve how this can be achieved, even if it doesn’t look how it used to. The greatest joy in her work life is seeing her clients achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Amy spends most of her time with her two young girls and husband, though she also finds time for baking, gardening, and running. Having lived in Italy for 6 months when she was younger, Amy speaks some Italian and always enjoys the opportunity to practice her skills so she doesn’t lose them altogether!
