Cath Banks graduated from University of Ulster, Jordanstown in Northern Ireland in 2009 before relocating to Auckland, New Zealand to commence her career as a Physiotherapist.  She worked in various Private Practices in Auckland and developed a strong interest in the management of lower back pain and exercise-based rehab.  Moving to Melbourne in 2013, Cath further honed her skills in strength training to assist clients in the management of their various musculoskeletal conditions.

Wanting a more diverse skill set, Cath returned to University and completed her Master of Business Administration in 2021.  As Clinical Excellence Manager for Own Body, Cath is responsible for supporting our clinicians to deliver the best outcomes for their patients.  She creates and maintains all of our policies and procedures and supports our Clinical Liaison and Administrative teams to ensure a fantastic experience for both our clients and our referrers.

When she’s not at work, Cath spends her time with her husband, daughter and two Rottweilers.  She loves a good road-trip and has travelled extensively around Australia.  She also has a real appreciation for good food, wine and coffee!
