Karen has an extensive background in musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation. After graduating in 1997 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at Southampton University in the UK, Karen worked in a wide variety of UK public hospitals and private practices developing a broad range of skills in both the acute and rehabilitation settings. She then went on to complete a Masters in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at University College London in 2004 before moving to New Zealand with her husband. There she continued to work in private practice delivering a high quality physiotherapy service to patients with neuromusculoskeletal conditions in addition to running Pilates classes.
Karen also developed a great passion for teaching patients, graduates and students alike and worked for several years in the UK as a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy before relocating to Melbourne in 2015 and returning to private practice. Karen has a keen interest in educating and empowering clients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys spending time with her son & husband and exploring the wealth of cafes and restaurants that Melbourne has to offer.
